SUPER SATURDAY

Saturday, October 7
9:00 am - 12:00 noon

Pictured below are the crafts we have available for our Super Saturday.
The two wreaths are beautiful. We chose a fall and a Christmas wreath. Both are priced currently at $40 a piece but we will try to get that price down.

The ornaments are $1 a piece. We have them listed in the folder as $6 for a set of 6 so it's essentially the same. ðŸ˜Š But you don't have to make six, if you know what I mean. You can make three and then it would be $3, for example.

Also available is a set of peppermint body butter, foot soak, and sugar scrub. The cost is $2 a set. These are for the small quarter-cup containers we are using. The $2 will cover just the spa product.
These would make a great teacher or neighbor/friend gift.  Here is an example of how you could package them, but you could also throw them in a bag along with some peppermint bark.  Fun and yummy!

If you have questions, please leave a comment here. Also leave a comment if you'd like to sign up here since we know how busy things can be at church. Thanks!
Also, if you don't want to make anything and want to just come, COME! There will be a small service project available for you as well as just mingling and enjoying the morning with us. ♥️

Super Saturday Crafts

Ok, Ladies.  Here comes Super Saturday!!
September 21, from 9am - 1pm.

Sign-Up/Payment Deadline: September 8th

So, I'm putting all our crafts up on here so you can take a look, if you haven't already, or so your friends can take a look.  Everyone's invited!
Here they are:
1. Knit Washcloths - $3 each
Sister Cindy Smith is going to teach anyone who wants to learn how to make these dish cloths.  She will provide an assortment of yarn for you to choose from.  But, if you want to bring your own, talk with her because it has to be kinda specific to work right.  If you want to make these, you'll also need to provide your own size 8 knitting needles, or contact Cindy and she'll get some for you for an extra price.

2. Chalkboard or Platter - $4 each
I'll have an assortment of spray paint there, but if you want you can bring your own color.  These platters look great either way!  We'll have sand paper if you want to antique it a bit, but it also looks great just painted and left alone.  The chalkboard is really fun too!

3. Birthday Board - $25
This is a great way to keep track of all the birthdays you have to remember.  Each month has a spot on the board, and you just hang individual birthday tiles below.  It's easy to add people on and makes a pretty cute decoration.

4. Temple Memory Game - $5
This game is made up of little wood tiles which we modpodged pictures of temples on one side, and an "I love to see the temple" on the other side.
They make a really fun Church game for the littles.
And there is also a simple bag to sew, to keep all the game tiles in.
We just sewed the paper emblem on the bag and modpodged it as well, to make it durable.

 5. Dry Erase Quite Book - $5
This is just the cutest!
It's just a bunch of the cutest little Church coloring pages laminated.
Just grab some dry erase crayons or markers and let your kids go to town over and over again.

6. Dry Erase Fabric Carrying Pouch - $2
We are also offering a fabric pouch you can sew to keep the dry erase quiet book and dry erase crayons/markers in.  It's basically like a folder made out of fabric, with a ribbon to tie it shut.  You untie the ribbon and open it up and in one pocket on one side is the book, in the other pocket on the other side is the markers/crayons/eraser.

7. Fabric Covered Pumpkins - $3 each
We have quite a few little pumpkins dying for a make-over!  We'll have several fabric scraps to choose from for this one.

8. Twine Wrapped Pumpkin -$3 each
Same idea here.  We'll wrap some small pumpkins in twin to give them a rustic look.  And we'll even have the burlap leaves and tiny pine cones for you to embellish your pumpkin.  Super cute!

8. Glitter Pumpkins - $4 each
These cuties are pretty self explanetory.  We have several colors of glitter.
You can make more than one.  You can even get creative and do more than one color on a pumpkin or alternate like the picture below.

9. Fabric Pumpkins - $4 each
Five little pumpkins all in a row.  They'd look adorable on a mantle, or as a table centerpiece.
These pumpkins are a sewing project, but a very easy one.  They take about 5-10 minutes per pumpkin to make.
They're weighted down with beanbags, and stuffed.
Ribbons are tied around the top, and I have these curly twigs if you want to use them as vines.
But wire would also look really cute, as pictured here:

10. Thankful Banner - $3
This is a great Thanksgiving decoration.  Would look great hanging on a mantle, or anywhere else, for that matter.
For this one, it's just a matter of finishing off the edges by zigzagging them, then we just glued the cricut glitter letters onto each flag using no sew fabric glue, and sewed each flag to a ribbon.
Not too hard.  But looks adorable!

 11. Wreath Ornament - $.50 each
For these we have several colors of ribbons, gold and silver bells, as well as tiny pine cones to decorate with.  If you want to get really fancy, you can bring your own embellishments.  They'd make a great gift.

12. Nativity Ornament - $.50 each
These simple ornaments are made using old clothespins.  They are simple and rustic, using twine to hang and wire to attach the star that flies above the family.

13. Wooden Doll Nativity - $15
This nativity is the perfect combination between a pretty decoration and something kids can touch.  It isn't breakable!
All the dolls are wood. We just hot glued fabric and ribbons on to represent the different members of the Nativity scene.
You will also be putting together a stable for the backdrop using a nailgun and wood glue.

14. Cocoa Snowman Jar - $2 each
These cute things are made using baby food jars, with paper hat lids, buttons, and fabric scarves, filled with cocoa essentials, they make a perfect little gift for the holidays.

15. Christmas Tree Advent - $15
This is the cutest little advent calendar!   It's made of little dowels put together and set up on a stand.
It has tiny clothes pins to hold the numbered pieces.
These are actually little match boxes which we covered in Christmas paper, and labeled with paper numbers.
Adorable, right?

That's it!  Spread the word and sign up for the ones you want.
Since it will be during the lunch hour, if you'd like to bring a salad to share, we could all potluck it.  Wouldn't that be fun?
Also, a nursery will be provided.

Hope to see you there!
